Founding member
Robert Romain has 20 years of Private Equity experience and is the founding Partner of
Pera Capital Partners. Previously he was a Director for NBGI and a founding managing partner at Ashmore Private Equity Turkey (USD 100 Million fund). Robert started his career as a strategy consultant working for Braxton Associates / Deloitte Consulting in London and Boston. Robert has made investments totaling well in excess of 200 MillionUSD and served on the board of well-known companies in the region across the services, logistics, automotive repair, electrical appliances, beverages, Medical and BPO services sectors. He holds an MPhil from the University of Cambridge and a B.Sc. in Economics from University College London.
